The combination of the fertile soil, climate and environment provides ideal growing conditions resulting in a consistent, high quality and versatile rice. American parboiled (easy cook) rice is especially fluffy and separate when cooked, as a result of the parboiling process. After parboiling, the majority of the vitamins and minerals are preserved in the rice. The raw easy cook rice has a golden sheen but turns white when cooked. Peacock Premium USA Easy Cook Rice is perfect for many recipes such as Jollof, Jerk Chicken, Chilli Con Carne and Salads.
