Cura-Heat Pain Relief Patches, 3 x 4 Pack

Cura-Heat Back & Shoulder Pain Relief Heat Patches provide targeted, temporary warming relief for minor muscular and joint aches and pains affecting the back and shoulders. The patches are air activated and contain iron, activated carbon and water. When exposed to oxygen in the air, these ingredients oxidise and generate heat.

The heat action lasts for approximately 12 hours, and once the patch is removed, pain relief can continue for a further 12 hours, providing up to 24 hours of pain relief. The patch delivers penetrating warmth that can help decrease stiffness, improve mobility and relax tense or aching muscles.

The patches are non-medicinal, fragrance-free, thin and discreet, making them convenient to use during everyday activities.

How Does It Work?

Cura-Heat contains:

• Iron
• Activated carbon
• Water

When the patch is removed from its sealed sachet and exposed to air, oxygen reacts with the ingredients and produces heat. The warmth radiates through the clothing towards the painful area. Heat therapy can increase blood flow around the application area, helping to reduce discomfort and relax stiff or tense muscles.

Directions for Use

1. Open the sachet by hand. Do not cut it with scissors.
2. Remove the heat patch.
3. Peel away the protective paper strip.
4. Apply the adhesive side to the outside of clothing or underwear over the affected back or shoulder area.
5. Do not apply directly to the skin.
6. Spread the contents evenly before use, but do not knead the patch.
7. The patch activates when exposed to air.
8. It gradually warms and reaches optimal heat in approximately 30 minutes.
9. Allow air to circulate around the patch.
10. Remove slowly after use.
11. Dispose of the used patch with normal household waste. Do not incinerate.

Important Safety Information

⚠️ Burn hazard: Heat patches can cause burns if used incorrectly, even at relatively low temperatures. Monitor the application area regularly. If the patch becomes uncomfortably hot, remove it immediately.

Do NOT:

• Apply directly to the skin.
• Use while sleeping.
• Use on children aged 12 years or under.
• Use on bruised, inflamed, irritated, broken or swollen skin.
• Use over wounds or scarred skin.
• Use over skin that cannot properly sense heat or cold.
• Use during exercise.
• Use with another heating device.
• Use with creams, rubs, lotions or sprays applied to the skin.
• Put pressure on the patch by lying or sitting on it.
• Wear tight clothing over the patch.
• Cut, tear, fold or puncture the patch.
• Microwave or attempt to reheat the patch.
• Use the same area for more than 12 hours in any 24-hour period.
